Interns and Instructors

Presidential Classroom draws volunteer instructors from around the United States and the world. They have diverse professional backgrounds in the federal government, the military, business and U.S. high schools and colleges. They are committed to the Presidential Classroom philosophy of hands-on education for active citizenship. Instructors serve as volunteers, taking time off from their jobs to bring Presidential Classroom a rich variety of perspectives and expertise.

Interns, also volunteers, are integral to the success of each program week. PC Interns, many of whom attended our programs as students, also come from across the United States and around the world. All gain a unique perspective on Washington, D.C. and the efforts that go into making Presidential Classroom an unforgettable experience for each student.

Intern Opportunities - Carefully selected from colleges and universities from across the United States and around the world, PC interns gain valuable work experience in a fast-paced and challenging environment that places them in direct contact with students, Volunteer Instructors and dynamic speakers all in the epicenter of American politics, Washington, D.C.
